Jailed Shireen Mazari falls sick, moves court for relief
PTI senior leader and former human rights minister Shireen Mazari has fallen ill in prison and now has moved court for her shifting to a hospital. Imaan Zainab Mazari filed an application in the Islamabad High Court on Monday seeking her mother’s shifting from jail to PIMS hospital on medical grounds. The court was requested to hear the application today as Shireen Mazari, who was arrested under MPO, was suffering from high blood pressure, food poisoning and swollen feet. The application further prays that Ms Shireen Mazari’s treatment inside Adiyala Jail was not possible as she was 72 years of age.
