Jail official dies in Okara road mishap
Deputy Superintendent of Bahawalpur Jail died while driver was injured when a tractor trolley hit a van here on Saturday. Rescue sources said that Deputy Superintendent Jail Asim Hanif was on his way back to Pakpattan after completing promotion course in Lahore when the van was hit by an over speeding tractor trolley at Dipalpur road near village Sukhpur of Okara. As a result of accident, Asim Hanif died on the spot while his driver was seriously injured. The body and injured were shifted to hospital and police after registering a case against driver of the tractor trolley started an investigation.
