Indian Soldier who strayed into Pak gets 3 months jail on return
NEW DELHI: Oct 26 (INP) An Indian soldier who crossed over to Pakistan last year and was handed over to India in January, has been found guilty by an army court which has recommended nearly three months imprisonment.
According to Indian media, the army court sentenced Sepoy Chandu Babulal Chavan to nearly three months in prison but the quantum of punishment is yet to be approved by appropriate authorities.
