IHC adjourns hearing on Shahbaz Gill’s post-arrest bail petition till Sept. 14
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday adjourned the hearing on a post-arrest bail petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill in the sedition case till September 15 on the request of special prosecutor. Special Prosecutor Raja Rizwan Abbasi appeared before the court. “I came to know that the case was scheduled for hearing on September 14. But, late night, I found out that the case was scheduled for hearing today,” he adopted before the court. “Give me some time for preparation,” he pleaded with the court which then adjourned the hearing on the bail petition in the sedition case till September 14. IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah heard the case.
