FIA Cyber Crime Cells arrest three including women
The Cyber Crime Cells of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested three people including a woman in latest swoop across the country, FIA confirmed on Wednesday. According to the FIA, the Rawalpindi circle apprehended Nasir Masheeh for his alleged involvement in online monetary frauds. The suspect used to loot innocent citizens by luring them for fake parcels. The Gilgit circle also arrested Zohaib Aziz and Benazir for committing online crimes. The suspects had shared some objectionable visuals of a victim on social media. The technological boost in Pakistan is giving impetus to many online crimes such as hacking, blackmailing and phishing attacks.
