Chinese company launched a technical course for students of Kohistan region
ISLAMABAD, February 8 (INP): Dasu Hydropower Project (DHPP) has announced a short-term technical and vocational course for the youth of Upper Kohistan, one of the backward areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gwadar Pro reported on Tuesday.
The objective of the course is to equip young people with technical and professional skills, enabling them to find work in the local job market.
With the sponsorship from DHPP, the young people will attend three-month classes at Applied Technologies Institute (ATIN) NLC Mandra and ATIN NLC Dina located in Punjab. Any youngster, holding CNIC and domicile certificate of Upper Kohistan, can apply for the course with basic qualification of matriculation or even matric.
4320MW DHPP is a run of river project on the Indus River located seven kilometers upstream of Dasu Town, District Kohistan.
