British PM vows to find substitute
LONDON, Jan 17 (INP) British Prime Minister Theresa May has urged lawmakers to work together for what parliament wants. In a televised address to the nation, the Prime Minister set out a schedule of cross-party talks that began immediately with meetings with the Scottish nationalist, Welsh nationalist and the pro-EU Liberal Democrat leaders.
She admitted that the divorce terms with the EU have been roundly rejected, but vowed to work to find an alternative.
