Pakistan joins Media’s Center to promote BRIBreaking

BEIJING, September 25 (INP): Pakistan joined a Media Center that was formally set up here to boost cooperation and enhance understanding about Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) among domestic and foreign media professionals. It was the follow-up of the Media cooperation forum for BRI held in Dunhuang, northwest China's Gansu province. It was established by the People’s Daily, the prominent and influential newspaper of China. The largest gathering of foreign media professionals from 127 countries representing their 256 media outlets witnessed the launch of media center. It was aimed at enhancing the promotion and understanding of President Xi Jinping initiative for boosting common development. President of the People’s Daily, Yang Zhenwu announced the launch of media center and termed it as a hub of cooperation between Chinese and international media professionals for sharing the message of common destiny. The 4th consecutive Media Cooperation forum held by People’s Daily which was attended by more than 300 foreign journalists who were thrilled being the participant of largest media gathering in China. While addressing the opening ceremony of media center, Yang Zhenwu said that media center will a data base for the comprehensive information about BRI and the significant achievements which have contributed to the lives of millions of people along the trade corridors. He also said that with the inclusion of 10 experts this center will provide the policy research insights which will be helpful for formulating the opinion about the BRI. Media center will contribute towards the smooth dissemination of information across the globe which will provide factual information helpful for building a clear understanding about great initiative. Provision of exact information about the investment plans, developmental projects, impact on people’s life and other various significant and additional analysis will be available, he added. The foreign media experts attending the forum and the launching ceremony of media center hoped that they were looking forwards towards to related information required for analyzing the investment and objectives of the initiative among their audience and readers across the globe. The launch of media center was a dire need of the time to release the factual information about the BRI initiative among the masses in dozens of countries which will attract the beneficiaries. Its impact and significance was increasing with the passage of the time so media center will play a due role in providing timely information about various projects which serve the cause across the globe, they added.
