Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Election Commissioner Shah Khawar has assumed the charge of his additional office of the acting chairman of the board. He was welcomed in the office by Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer and directors of the board. The acting chairman will hold meetings with PCB officials on important matters. Khawar has been appointed to hold elections to the board within four weeks. The federal government on Tuesday appointed Shah Khawar as the acting Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief. Khawar had already been appointed as the PCB election commissioner. According to details, Khawar will announce the governing board following consultations with the stakeholders. Sources revealed that the PCB 'schairman elections will be held in the first week of February.
