Pakistan Super League Season 11 will observe “Pink Day” on Thursday to raise awareness about Breast Cancer.The matches will be held at the National Bank Stadium Karachi, featuring a double-header. The first match will see Hyderabad Kingsmen take on Rawalpindi, while the second match will be played between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United.
As part of the awareness campaign, all players and match officials will wear pink caps and pink ribbons. The stumps and on-screen graphics will also be displayed in pink to highlight the cause. Members of the Pakistan women's national cricket team, including captain Fatima Sana, along with players Syeda Aroob Shah, Rameen Shamim, and Muneeba Ali, have been invited to the stadium to support the initiative.
The women cricketers will also take part in pre-match warm-up sessions alongside players from all four teams. The initiative aims to spread awareness about breast cancer, which has one of the highest prevalence rates in Pakistan. A key message of the campaign is to encourage early screening and to promote strength and resilience in the fight against the disease.
