Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Director General Shoaib Khoso chaired a meeting to review the arrangements and preparations for holding the Davis Cup Tie to be played in Islamabad this month. Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Col. (r) Gul Rehman, Deputy Director General Pakistan Sports Board Saeed Akhtar, officials of law enforcement agencies were also attended the meeting. Director General Shoaib Khoso directed the PSB officials to complete all the arrangements for the Davis Cup Group II tie to be played between Pakistan and Indonesia on the green courts of the Pakistan Sports Complex from September 15th.

He said that Pakistan Sports Board will provide all possible facilities. The Pakistan Davis Cup team includes Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi (Playing Captain) while players comprise Aqeel Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Muhammad Abid and Barkatullah will be part of the team against Indonesia. The training camp for the Davis Cup is already underway under the supervision of former Davis Cup player Mushaf Zia, who is selected as coach to oversee the training camp.
