The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for students at the second Test match against Bangladesh, starting August 30 in Rawalpindi. In a bid to boost attendance and support for the national team, the PCB has declared that students can enter the stadium at no charge, provided they are in uniform and carry a valid educational institution card. Access to VIP enclosures, including Imran Khan and Javed Miandad sections, will depend on seat availability, while students can watch the match from premium enclosures such as Meeran Bakhsh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanveer, and Yasir Arafat.
The free entry offer does not extend to the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box areas. Additionally, the PCB will continue its free shuttle bus service for fans, a facility that was also available during the first Test match. The move comes after a lack of fan engagement during the first Test, which led to free entry on the last two days. The PCB aims to attract more families and students to the match to support their cricketing heroes. The second Test, which will be played from August 30 to September 3, follows Bangladesh's ten-wicket victory over Pakistan in the first Test.
