Pakistan's premier all-rounder, Imad Wasim, has been ruled out of the national team's opening match in the T20 World Cup due to a side strain which is scheduled on June 6. Imad, currently in the United States for the tournament, will miss the first game, confirmed team captain Babar Azam. "Imad is suffering from a side strain and won't be able to play in our first match," said Babar Azam. "We are hopeful, however, that he will recover in time to participate in the remaining matches of the tournament." Pakistan is set to face the USA in their World Cup opener on June 6. The American team has already made a strong start, securing a victory against Canada in their first match of the T20 World Cup.
