Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem and sprinter Faiqa Riaz have embarked on their journey to Paris for the highly anticipated Paris Olympics. Nadeem, accompanied by his coach Salman Butt, will represent Pakistan in the javelin throw, while Riaz will compete in the 100m sprint. Nadeem is scheduled to compete in the javelin throw group round on August 6, with the finals set for August 8. Meanwhile, Riaz will kick off her campaign in the preliminary round of the women’s 100m race on August 3. The Paris Olympics, just days away, will see seven Pakistani athletes across three sports disciplines, including three shooters and two swimmers, as part of an 18-member squad. The nation looks forward to their participation in this grand sporting event.
