April 26, 2025

In a befitting response, Pakistan on Saturday deported 23 Indian nationals who were associated with the on-going HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL)-10 broadcasting company with immediate effect. According to sources, all these Indian nationals left Pakistan via Wagah border.  The Indian staff stationed in Multan were expected to leave Pakistan by today. The remaining Indian personnel were also expected to depart from the country soon. Sources indicated that the Indian staff had been engaged as freelancers within the broadcasting company.

Sources confirmed that the departure of the Indian workers would not impact the PSL. The broadcasting company responsible for PSL coverage was identified as a Pakistani entity. Sources revealed that replacement staff were immediately available to take over the departed roles. Sources from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) clarified that the board had no involvement in the decision. PCB sources confirmed that the directive issued by the Ministry of Interior and the Pakistan government would also apply to the Pakistan Super League.
