Left-arm fast bowler of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi has rejected the reports that he would skip the Test series against Sri Lanka. The media reports a couple of days earlier had stated the Pakistan’s star pacer might not participate in the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka as he would be given rest ahead of the ODI World Cup, which will be hosted by India in October and November 2023. The Sri Lankan Test series is scheduled to be played in July later this year as part of the ICC Test Championship. Apparently dismissing the reports, Mr Afridi shared a video on Twitter, showing him practice with the red ball, used for longest format of cricket. "Red ball has a different vibe. It’s time #TestMatch” he captioned the video. It should be mentioned here that Shaheen Afridi is currently playing for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club in England's T20 Blast.
