The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially initiated the public ticket ballot for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, set to close on February 7, 2024. Breaking away from the conventional first-come, first-served approach, this ballot system aims to provide an equal and fair chance for fans globally to secure seats for the prestigious T20 cricket event. Fans can apply for up to six tickets per match, and there are no restrictions on the number of matches one can request during the seven-day application window, open until February 7, 2024, at 11:59 PM Antigua Standard Time. Chris Tetley, the Head of Events at the ICC, expressed enthusiasm about the release of tickets for the T20 World Cup, slated to be held in the West Indies and the USA. The ballot system ensures a level playing field for fans worldwide, with applications accepted at any time within the specified window.
