Celebrated singer and music composer Ali Zafar is gearing up to lend his vocals to the official anthem of PSL Season 9. The announcement, made on the PSL account, confirms that Ali Zafar has been working on creating the musical magic for this season. A social media message shared a line, 'Setti To Bhakti Ge,' hinting that it might be the title of the PSL 9 anthem. Ali Zafar, who last sang the PSL anthem in 2018, has a rich history with the league. He composed and performed the first PSL anthem, "Ab Khel Ke Dikha," for the inaugural season in 2016. His contribution continued with the second season in 2017, presenting the spirited anthem, "Ab Khel Jame Ga." Ali Zafar then won hearts in 2018 with the soulful anthem, "Dil Se Jan Laga De." The news comes after Aima Baig's participation in the PSL anthems for the 2022 and 2019 seasons. The tournament is set to be played across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, with the grand finale scheduled for March 18 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Karachi will host the maximum number of matches, including qualifiers, eliminateors, and the final, in this 34-match T20 tournament.
