The battle for the presidency saw Aisam-ul-Haq clinching a narrow victory with 8 votes, while his opponent Asghar Nawaz fell short with 7 votes. However, the opposition group celebrated victories in the secretary and treasurer positions. Retired Colonel Zia secured the post of Secretary with 8 votes, narrowly defeating his opponent, retired Major Salman, who garnered 7 votes. Meanwhile, Arif Qureshi clinched the position of Treasurer with 9 votes, leaving Umar Farooq with 6 votes. Expressing his determination, Aisam-ul-Haq conveyed his commitment to elevate tennis in Pakistan to unprecedented heights. He vowed to dedicate every possible effort to enhance the sport's standing within the nation. It's worth noting that all newly elected officials will serve a term of four years, signifying a new chapter in Pakistan's tennis administration.
