Amid the threats to the Ahmedabad cricket stadium during the Pakistan-India match, the Ahmedabad City Police Chief G S Malik has issued a notification declaring the city as a ‘No Drone Fly Zone’ from 6 am to 12 midnight on October 14. Earlier, Mumbai Police received an email threatening to blow up Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat hosting several matches of the tournament. In the email, which was sent to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the sender demanded Rs500 crore and the release of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to stop the attack. The email also mentioned that militants were already in a position to carry out the attacks.
