A 17-year-old youth was shot dead Friday by his friend over a minor argument in Narowal.According to police, the accused managed his escape well after the incident while his mother kept destroying evidence from the spot. The incident took place in Dera Noor Malik village in the jurisdiction of Kot Naina police station. “An argument took place between Umer, 17, and his friend Zain. The latter called Umer his home and shot him dead,” police said. “The mother of the accused kept cleaning the evidence and blood from the spot,” they added. Police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Umer’s father and shifted the body to the hospital. Raids were being conducted for the arrest of the accused.
