A 24-year-old girl was killed when unknown motorcyclists sprayed her with bullets at her home in Sundar area of Lahore on Thursday, the day of her marriage. Police said that the bullet, Ayesha, daughter of Habib, received in her head proved fatal.  The Force said it had collected evidence from the crime scene and was investigating the incident from different angles. On Tuesday, a speeding car crushed to death two girls, aged between 18 and 20 years, on the motorway near Thokar Niaz Beg in Lahore.

However, the identity of the girls could not be established 24 hours after their deaths.  On the other hand, Hanjarwal police said they were still looking for the car driver, responsible for the deaths of the girls.  Soon after the accident, police shifted the bodies to Jinnah Hospital.  The Force said it is investigating the incident from different angles. It did not rule out the possibility of a murder.
