A woman sustained injuries when a portion of a dilapidated roof collapsed at a house in the Phatak area,on the outskirts of the city on Saturday. According to Rescue 1122 officials,Rubina Bibi,(42),was sitting in the veranda of her house when a portion of the deteriorated roof suddenly caved in and struck her,leaving her injured.

Rescue 1122 team reached the spot and provided first aid to the injured woman before shifting her to Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) for further medical treatment. Rescue officials said the woman had sustained minor injuries and no other casualties were reported in the incident.
