A young girl and her alleged "paramour" were shot and killed by her father in Karachi on Friday, police said. The victims, Laraib, 18, and Hassan, 17, were found dead in a car on Abul Hassan Isphani Road in the Sohrab Goth area of the city.Rafique Sheikh, the father of Laraib, admitted to killing his daughter and Hassan for "honor." He said he had seen the two youngsters together in a car and became enraged. Police said they had lifted empty shells of a pistol from the spot and taken Rafique and his son into custody. The killing has sparked outrage in Karachi, with many people calling for justice for the victims.
