Unidentified accused attacked a couple with sharp edged weapon killing wife and leaving husband critically injured, police said on Monday. According to details, unidentified culprits barged into a house in Khyaban Town of Khanewal and attacked the couple sleeping the house with sharp edged weapon. The accused beheaded the woman, critically injured her husband and escaped the scene.

 The Rescue personnel upon getting the information reached the scene, shifted the body and injured to district hospital. Police said that incident seems to be outcome of family enmity. A case was registered into the incident and investigations were underway.
