A week-long wheat campaign has been launched in Nankana Sahib in collaboration with the Agricultural University Faisalabad and the Department of Agriculture. The campaign aims to increase wheat production by providing farmers with useful suggestions and recommendations. The campaign was inaugurated by Assistant Director of Agriculture Muhammad Akram, who urged farmers to follow the recommendations of agricultural graduates and experts to boost their wheat yields. He also highlighted the importance of cultivating recommended varieties of wheat.
A roadshow was organized as part of the campaign, with participation from university students, teachers, and officials of the Department of Agriculture. The roadshow traveled along the Faisalabad Road. Secretary Press and Publications of Horticultural Club Faisalabad Talha Anuran Nasari expressed hope that the campaign would be successful in increasing wheat production, following the success of last year's wheat campaign. He also noted that the campaign would provide agricultural graduates with valuable field experience. Other attendees at the inauguration ceremony included Agriculture Officer Muhammad Muneeb, Field Staff of the Agriculture Department, and Assistant Professor Muhammad Idris.
