July 02, 2026

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Sargodha organized open public complaint sessions (Khuli Katcheries) at Kot Fareed Sub-Division and Mujahid Colony to hear residents' concerns regarding water supply, sewerage and other civic services. According to the WASA spokesperson here on Thursday, during the session at Kot Fareed Sub-Division, around 40 to 50 complaints were received from citizens.

The majority of complaints related to the shortage of potable water, while only a few concerned sewerage issues. SDO Muhammad Abdullah, Sub-Engineer Usman and Supervisor Abid Shah listened to the complaints and assured residents that practical measures would be taken for their timely resolution. Residents also requested the installation of new water supply pipelines in several streets.

Following an initial survey, the concerned staff prepared a proposal for laying new pipelines in three to four streets and forwarded it to the competent authorities for approval. Officials expressed hope that work on the project would begin soon after the necessary approvals. A similar open complaint session was also held in Mujahid Colony as part of WASA's initiative to resolve public grievances at the community level and ensure prompt delivery of civic services.
