A female student of Islamia University died while 13 others sustained injuries when their collided with a trawler and bus at Bahawalpur Road in Adam Wahan area of Lodhran amid thick smog and fog on Wednesday morning. Rescue 1122 team reached the site of the accident and shifted the injured persons to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). The dead female student later identified as Afra Nawaz daughter of Mohammad Nawaz, who was a student of BS in Islamia University. Police after registering a case started investigation. At least 20 passengers were injured when a passenger bus overturned near Sadowal, Zafarwal Road, Narowal due to thick smog and fog. The passenger bus was destined for Lahore from Dhudu Chak to Lahore. No rescue team arrived at the site of the accident and local residents of the area shifted the injured persons to hospital on self-help basis.
