Two robbers were killed and three others managed to escape after an encounter late on Tuesday night, police said. Arms, cash and other valuables recovered. According to detail, the police on a tip-off regarding presence of robber launched crackdown near Pul Gara in Hujra Shah Muqeem police station jurisdiction in Okara. Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing and attempted to flee. The police cordoned off the area and an exchange of fire took place in which two robbers were killed and three managed to escape. The police recovered weapons, cash and looted valuables from possession of the killed robbers and their bodies were shifted to hospital.
