Two notorious robbers were killed while DSP Saddar Faisalabad Rana Waseem was injured in exchange of fire. According to details, the encounter took place in Karam Pur area of Vehari after police launched an operation against wanted criminals. Two notorious robbers including Waqas Shah and Gulfam Shah were killed in fire exchange while DSP Rana Waseem sustained injuries. The killed robber Waqas Shah was wanted by police in 38 cases of murder, attempt murder, robberies and other crimes while Gulfam Shah was wanted in 13 criminal cases. They hailed from Khudian Faisalabad and were considered to be symbol of terror and fear. District Police Office (DPO) Vehari, Mansoor Amaan along with heavy contingent of police reached the scene. The injured police official was shifted to District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital Vehari.
