Two notorious robbers were killed in an exchange of fire with police here on Wednesday. According to details, a police team on a tip-off approached a two-member of gang of robbers engaged in picket looting in Khanewal. Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing at police and attempted to flee. In retaliatory firing both notorious robbers identified as Fiaz and Ijaz were killed on the spot. The police recovered arms and looted valuables from possession of the killed robbers wanted by police in various cases of robberies and other crimes.
