Two notorious robbers were injured and held with arms and a bike after exchange of fire here on Thursday. According to details, a special team of police launched crackdown over report of presence of robbers involved in murder of a citizen Muhammad Saleem near Mochipura over resistance during robbery. Upon sight of police, the robbers started firing and attempted to flee from the scene. In retaliatory firing, two robbers were injured and arrested with two pistols and a motorcycle while their other accomplices managed to escape. The detainees including Sajid alias 22 Wheeler hailing from Kot Ali Garh and Kashif alias Kashi belonging to Kaky Khurd were wanted by police in more than 37 serious criminal cases.
