Two people were killed and three other injured in separate road accidents in different localities of Bahawalnagar, police and rescue sources said on Tuesday. According to details, an overspeeding oil tanker ran over a motorcycle carrying mother and son at Chishtian Road. As a result of accident, mother identified as Zaitoon Bibi was killed on the spot while son was critically injured and oil tanker driver fled the scene. In another accident, two over speeding motorcycles collided with each other. The collision resulted in death ofa 7-year-old child on the spot and left two others critically injured. The bodies and injured of body accidents were shifted to different hosptials and police after registering separate cases in both incidents at respective police station have started investigations.
