Two people were killed and a cop martyred in armed clash between two rival groups in Gondalanwala area of Gujranwala on Friday. According to details, the incident took place in Aroop police station jurisdiction where two groups which were in old dispute were called for settlement of the issues. After exchange of hot words, members of Awan Group started firing killing two members of the rival group including Naeem and Azeem. The fleeing culprits crushed to death Constable Akram under their vehicle when he attempted to catch them. The martyred cop was serving with SP Saddar. The bodies were shifted to hospital and police after registering a case into the incident started raids to arrest the culprits.
