Two people were injured after some persons hurled a hand grenade at a petrol pump in Barra, district Khyber. Both the injured were shifted to a hospital in Peshawar. Police said that several vehicles were also damaged in the incident, while the area had been cordoned off in order to search for the assailants. Incidents of terrorism are on the rise in some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan for the last several months, prompting the government to launch a military operation in these areas.
