The district police have arrested two accused taking took swift and effective action against aerial firing during a wedding ceremony. According to police spokesman, a police team led SP City Ali Hamza and DSP Muhammad Adnan, and under the supervision of SHO City Police Station Khanzada Khan, responded promptly and arrested two individuals involved in celebratory firing at the event. A pistol along with ammunition was also recovered from the suspects, and a case has been formally registered against them.
Speaking on the occasion, SP City Ali Hamza stated that aerial firing at joyous events such as weddings is dangerous, illegal, and un-Islamic act that poses serious threats to innocent lives. He reiterated that the police are committed to ensuring the safety of life and property and are strictly enforcing a zero-tolerance policy against such unlawful activities. He warned that no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
