The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Karachi Police arrested two extortionists posing as Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) officials and blackmailing a factory owner. According to details, accused Ahmad and Khalid pretending as SSGC officials were collecting extortion money from owner of a garments factory located in New Karachi since long. The factory owner frustrated over repeated demands of money lodged a complaint with New Karachi Industrial Area police station.The SIU of police arrested both extortionists when they visited the factor to collect the extortion money. A case was registered against the detainees and investigations were kicked off.
