Abbottabad police arrested two drug dealers and recovered 3 kg 232 grams of drugs during a crackdown on drug trafficking in the district on Tuesday. According to the Abbottabad Police, on the instructions of District Police Chief Umar Tufail, SHO Mangal Faisal Khan seized 1382 grams of heroin from drug dealer Shamrez and 1550 grams of heroin from Haroon, along with 300 grams of exported gram ice. Cases under the Prohibited Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigation is underway. The police operation is a welcome step in the fight against drug trafficking in Abbottabad. Drugs have a devastating impact on individuals, families, and communities, and it is important to bring those who are involved in this illegal trade to justice.
