Two people including a woman were killed and as many others injured a van crashed into a roadside tree on Jhang Road close to Sultan- Layyah Road on Thursday, witnesses and rescuers said. The dead and the injured were shifted to the THQ hospital Athara Hazari. Police said the fatal crash happened moments after the van driver fell asleep. The passengers were heading to Kot Addu from Islamabad at the time of the incident. Police impounded the damaged vehicle for legal formalities.
