Two accused of rape of teenage student were killed in firing of own accomplices during a police encounter here on Thursday. According to details, qingqi driver Muhammad Fiaz along with his accomplice Muhammad Kamran both hailing from Mirza Attock had kidnapped a student of tenth class and raped her at gunpoint after taking her to a unpopulated area near Bani Baba mausoleum, Attock. The culprits escaped after the incident and police registering a case started search for them. The police conducted a raid in Bhindar area, Jang police station jurisdiction to arrest the culprits and exchange of fire took place. Both culprits Muhammad Fiaz s/o Muhammad Akram hailing from Kasran Pindi Gheb and Muhammad Kamran s/o Muhammad Arshad hailing from Mirza Attock were killed. The bodies were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities and police registering a case into the incident started investigations.
