Two accused of killing a minor child after brutal torture were killed in a police encounter here on Monday. According to details, the police on a tip-off regarding presence of wanted criminals launched crackdown in Kot Diji area of Khairpur. The accused started firing at police and attempted to flee from the scene.  In retaliatory firing of police, two accused involved in abduction of six-year-old child some one week earlier, murdering him after brutal torture and throwing his body in agriculture fields were killed.  The bodies of killed accused were shifted to hospital.
