Two abudcuted people were rescued after exchange of fire with police here on Tuesday. The police on an intelligence tip-off launched crackdown in Kacha area of Shikarpur for rescuing abducting citizens. An exchange of fire took place after which, police managed to rescue two abducted people including Abdul Sattar alias Saitthar and Gul Sher Saithar. The rescued citizens were kidnapped on March 19. The police took them into custody and later handed them over to heirs.
