Security forces in an intelligence-based operation busted banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) network and arrested 17 terrorists including a terror commander from Karachi on Thursday.  The terrorists were involved in target killings, ransom and dacoity cases. The terrorists were planning to collect funds from traders for ransom, attack political and religious parties’ leadership to create law and order situation in the country. The arrested terrorists were brought to Pakistan by banned TTP in disguise of madrassa students. The terrorists were part of TTP network between 2007 to 2014 and were involved in attacks on security forces and NGOs at different places.
