In the case of murder of young sister Maria by brother and father in Chak 477 JB of Toba Tek Singh, a district magistrat granted two-day police remand of both killers on Friday. The victim Maria's elder sister Kausar has also appeared before the police and confirmed that she was brutally tortured before the murder. The Toba Tek Singh police produced both the killers--Faisal and his father Abdul Sattar before District Magistrate Talat Javed and demaned a physical remand. On the request, the court of magistrate handed over the accused to the police granting the physical remand of two days. On the other hand, Kausar, the elder sister of the murdered Maria appeared before the police and recorded her statement on Friday. The video of her police statement was also recorded in the mobile camera and later goes viral on social media. In her police statement, Kausar said his brother made a phone call to her at one o'clock in the night and reported that sister Maria's condition was not well. Kausar said when she reached home at night, Maria was not alive and her throat was strangled and one side of her face was also badly pressed.

She said victim Maria was badly tortured and her nose was bleeding. She demanded that they should be given justice. Yesterday, a video came to light of the horrific murder incident depicting the girl's tragic demise. In the video, it can be seen that the youth also asked his father to give him water after the murder while his brother and sister-in-law were also present in the room. The gruesome act was captured on video by the victim's other brother named Shehbaz on his mobile to show the brutality of his heartless brother Faisal and father Abdul Sattar. Accused Faisal with the help of his father Abdul Sattar forced the pillow on the victim's face for three minutes, suffocating her to death and then buried her dead body in an attempt to conceal their heinous crime. The police arrested both the killers after exhuming the grave of the deceased girl. The post-mortem report of victim Maria revealed that the neck bones of the deceased Maria were broken, while there are also marks of torture on the body.

In the video, Maria's brother Shehbaz and his wife could be heard to suggest father and brother to free the sister. Yesterday, victim Maria's brother Shehbaz and his wife who made the video of killing have appealed to the police to register a case against the killers on their complaint. According to the statement of the deceased's elder brother Shehbaz, the father and brother used to rape the victim Maria. He said they came into the room to save Maria but were threatened by his father and brother to kill his daughters too. Shehbaz said he made the video of the sister's murder on the pretext of a phone call from a friend. Shehbaz said his father and brother had come to know that his wife was informed by Maria about the rape.
