Pakistan has witnessed a remarkable surge of 103% in tractor sales on an annual basis during the initial six months of the current financial year. According to data from the All Pakistan Auto Manufacturers Association, the country recorded the sale of 23,411 tractor units from July to December, marking a substantial increase from the 11,513 units sold in the same period of the previous fiscal year. In December alone, the sale of 2,605 tractor units was registered, reflecting a staggering 157% surge compared to December of the preceding year when sales stood at 1,015 units. However, tractor sales experienced a 26% month-on-month decline in December compared to November. November recorded 3,510 units in tractor sales, which dropped to 2,605 units the following month. Breaking down the statistics, Millat Tractors sold 15,099 units in the first six months of the current financial year, marking a substantial 140% increase from the 6,301 units sold in the same period of the previous fiscal year. Similarly, AGTL (Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited) achieved sales of 8,312 units in the first six months, indicating a 59% increase from the 5,212 units sold in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year.
