Tortured body of a man was recovered from canal while a woman was injured in torture of in-laws here, police said on Wednesday. According to detail, body of an unidentified person killed by torturing him to death was recovered from suburban area of Minchanabad in Bahawalnagar district. Police and rescue teams reached the scene after getting the information and shifted the body to hospital. Meanwhile, a woman was critically injured after her husband along with his mother and sister brutally tortured her in Arifwala. The body and injured woman were shifted to different hospitals and police after registering separate cases at respective police stations started investigations.
