Police arrested three suspects and recovered a significant amount of alcohol during a crackdown on illicit drug activities in the city on Tuesday. According to police officials, acting on a tip-off, a team of Bombanwala police station conducted raids in different areas of Sialkot, leading to the apprehension of the three individuals. The identities of the arrested suspects have been withheld pending further investigation. Upon searching the premises, the police recovered a substantial quantity of alcohol, indicating the suspects' involvement in a large-scale drug trafficking network. The seized alcohol is currently in police custody and will serve as crucial evidence in the ongoing investigation.
Commenting on the operation, Sialkot Police Spokesman stated that the crackdown on drug dealers is a top priority for the police department. He emphasized that the police are committed to eradicating drug trafficking from the city and ensuring the safety and well-being of the citizens. Cases have been registered against the accused under the relevant provisions of the law, and a comprehensive investigation is underway to unravel the extent of their drug trafficking operations.
