Armed robbers looted three shops within an hour during broad day light in Khanewal, police said on Tuesday. According to details, motorcycle riding robbers took away hundreds of thousands rupees cash and cell phones from two medical stores and a shawarma shop. The citizens have expressed grave concern over robbery incidents during broad day light and failure of police to trace and arrest the culprits despite having CCTV footages of various incidents. Meanwhile, the police lodged separate cases in all three robbery incidents and started investigations.
