Three persons including a woman were shot dead when their rivals opened fire on them near Jandiala Sher Khan in Sheikhupura on  Saturday. Police sources said that firing incident occurred due to old enmity between these two groups.  Soon after receiving the report of the incident, District Police Officer (DPO) Bilal Zafar reached the crime spot. 

After noticing the police team, all accused escaped in the nearby fields leaving behind their vehicle.  The police after adopted effective strategy and started chasing the fleeing accused. DPO Bilal Zafar said that that due to continued chasing, the police team apprehended five accused who were equipped with weapons. Police spokesman said that later police team shifted the injured persons to nearby hospital for treatment. Further investigation was underway.
