Police arrested three workers, and two other people escaped during a raid on a counterfeit medicines factory in Karachi.According to details, police raided the factory after receiving credible information that fake medicines were being manufactured in the factory.

During the raid, three persons who were identified as Nauman, Ahmad Farooqi, and Faizan, who were working in the factory, were arrested while the owner of the factory, Siddique, and his son Zaid Siddique escaped from the scene. Police also impounded a large quantity of cartons packed with fake medicines.

Police also revealed that the accused Siddique and his son were running the factory for a marginal time. After registering a case against the accused, the police launched a search operation to apprehend them. Police said that the accused Siddique was arrested many times in the past.
